One last hoorah...

So I thought after PCA's March Madness, I'd be done with posting fabulous campaigns for a while. But the SS08 campaigns just keep on coming and I can't help but share this gorgeous campaign. It features one of my favorite boys, Garrett Neff and if I could have come up with a clever title for it, I would have put it in with all the other PCAs. Classy, gorgeous, luxurious, I just don't have enough adjectives to describe it.

I can't help but show a little hometown spirit when it comes to Kerry. I mean, he lives in my district AND he went to school with my friends for god's sake! Another Mode discovery, he was immediately snapped up by Major, and has posed for JD Ferguson, Bruce Weber for Abercrombie, shot his first cover, and taken the online fashion community by storm. All I can say is, why oh why did I choose not to go to public school?

So you've probably seen him on MDC's MOTW already, but I just had to put him up here too. He's Lucien's brother or cousin I swear. With the only difference being that his last name isn't Thomkins. They're from the same country, same town, and same agency. And as far as I'm concerned, he'll have the same success too.

Model Watch: Ryan Cooper

So he's not exactly a new face, but he's new to me and definitely got me excited. I first spotted him in the DKNY Jeans SS08 campaign and after that I was completely hooked. See if the same doesn't happen for you! He's with Models 1, New York Models, and Nova. I want him on the runways STAT!

SIMON LUND

Make no mistake. Simon is not related to the Lund brothers Jesper and Sebastian, but he does hail from their hood. The latest product of Denmark, he was discovered by 2PM Model Management and quickly snapped up by Success and Why Not. He made his runway debut last season walking for Burberry and walked for Noir this season in Copenhagen. A combination of Jeremy Dufour and Sean Harju, he is definitely one to watch!

PCA: The Super Seller

And the award goes to...

FRANKIE MORELLO SS08 Campaign

Love it or hate it, the 50's is making a comeback. Maybe you first clued in when Amy Winehouse stepped into the spotlight, or when Chanel sent their pre-fall 08 models down the runway in beehives, but you've got to admit that these ads will be a hit. It's all about catering to the public, and right now this is what's hot. This campaign is fun and FIERCE. No matter what you think, it's not going back for rehab any time soon.

PCA: The Star Smash

And the award goes to...

MIU MIU SS08 Campaign

While Perez might call her "Drunkst" and make fun of her acting skills, there is no denying that Kirsten Dunst could always fall back on a successful modeling career if she ever chose to. Out of all the celebrity campaigns this season and the dozens of the past, none were so convincing as her turns for Miu Miu. A winning campaign if there ever was one!

PCA: The Sexy Siren

And the award goes to...

EMANUEL UNGARO SS08 Campaign

There were many sexy campaigns out this season- the usual fragrance campaign looks among them. But this campaign is just chock full of tension that it makes us all want to scream "GET A ROOM ALREADY" even though the leading man isn't even shirtless yet.

DKNY SS08 Campaign

Let's face it. Sex sells. But romance is making a comeback. After all, the point is to sell the clothes. DKNY's campaign reminds us that you can still have fun without taking off your clothes. And if the clothes can score me a hot date with Andrew Cooper, I think I'll be investing some of my $$$ in DKNY in the future.

PCA: The Natural Neverland

NewMan SS08 CAMPAIGN

Reminiscent of a nicer and more memorable version of my high school backpacking trip, this campaign helps me forget the leaking kivas, unexpected beehives, and falling boulders of my trip and helps me remember the gorgeous scenery and beauty of the wilderness. With scenery so beautiful as this, the most litter-happy person of us all will convert to a tree-hugger in no time at all!
